Non-rechargeable Battery Packs
A primary battery pack is for one-time use. You can't recharge it because the chemical reactions inside aren't reversible. Once the chemicals are depleted, the battery can't generate any more electricity. Please see further info below under Shrink-Wrapped Battery Packs.

Shrink-Wrapped Battery Packs
Primary and Rechargeable Lithium Battery Packs
Both primary and secondary/rechargeable cells can be configured into (separate) packs. The number of cells in series and parallel can be designed to meet the requirement of your application. Protection circuitry, wiring and connectors can be added, and the whole pack physically protected by a shrinkwrap plastic housing.
