The Battery Show North America 2026: Exhibitor and Floor Guide

Pass prices, workshops, pavilions and how to shortlist a battery supplier before you arrive in Detroit.

Where can you find YOK Energy at the show?

YOK Energy is exhibiting on Booth 4211 on the Level 2 expo floor. We supply lithium-ion cells in cylindrical, prismatic and polymer formats, ATEX-certified cells for hazardous environments, primary cells, and standard or bespoke battery packs.

More than 1,300 suppliers exhibit at The Battery Show North America 2026 at Huntington Place, Detroit, from 12 to 15 October. The official exhibitor directory is published and continuously updated by the organiser. This guide covers what it costs to attend, how the floor is organised, which workshops and pavilions to plan around, and how to shortlist a battery supplier before you arrive.

How many exhibitors are at The Battery Show North America 2026?

More than 1,300 suppliers exhibit, drawing over 16,000 attendees. The official exhibitor directory is maintained by the organiser and updated continuously as companies are added, so it is worth checking again in the fortnight before the show rather than relying on an early look.

Exhibitors span the entire battery and EV supply chain rather than clustering in one category. Raw material suppliers sit alongside cell manufacturers, pack assemblers, production equipment builders, test houses and recycling specialists.

What does it cost to attend The Battery Show North America 2026?

Registration runs across four windows, with prices rising at each stage. The Standard window runs to 9 October, after which Onsite pricing applies.

The Explorer Pass covers three days of expo access, the tech theaters, the New Product Showcase and evening networking. Explorer Plus adds a hospitality lounge with a professional headshot, a curated show floor tour with limited availability, one conference keynote on day three, and a separate badge collection desk.

Conference passes include access to session slides plus complimentary networking breakfast and lunch. The Non-Exhibiting Supplier fee is worth noting: at $399 flat across every window, anyone attending to sell rather than to buy pays it regardless of when they book.

Group discounts apply automatically at registration — 10% for three to five people, 20% for six to nine, and 25% for ten or more. Academic and government rates are available directly from the organiser. Full detail is on the official passes and pricing page.

What's on the expo floor?

The expo occupies Level 2 of Huntington Place and covers the full supply chain. It helps to think of it in five groups rather than as one hall:

How the floor breaks down

If you are sourcing cells or packs rather than equipment, the second group is where your time is best spent — and it is the group most worth pre-filtering in the directory before you travel.

Which pavilions and zones are at the show?

Four pavilion themes are confirmed for 2026: battery recycling, lead battery technology, a UK pavilion and a German pavilion. The German pavilion alone carries 34 exhibitors under the German Foreign Trade Fair Participation Programme, coordinated by Landesmesse Stuttgart.

A pavilion concentrates related or regional suppliers in one place, which makes it an efficient way to compare several vendors in a single stop rather than crossing the hall repeatedly.

New for 2026 is the BATT to the Future Zone, with nine hand-picked exhibits of emerging battery technology. Each day runs receptions — coffee and pastries in the morning, midday popcorn socials and cocktails to close — alongside scavenger hunts and giveaways.

What workshops run on day one?

Six three-hour workshops run on Monday 12 October, before the expo opens. They are sold as a standalone pass or added to any conference pass. The confirmed line-up:

Day one workshops

If you are sourcing cells rather than manufacturing them, the first two are the ones worth your day. The remaining four are aimed squarely at production and quality teams. Full descriptions are on the official workshops page.

Which conference tracks are worth attending?

The conference runs across seven tracks from Tuesday to Thursday:

Two separate events sit alongside the main programme. The Executive Summit is a closed-door, one-day event for C-suite attendees on Thursday 15 October. The Battery Awards ceremony takes place on Tuesday 13 October.

What education is free with an expo pass?

Three programmes run on the show floor, and access differs between them.

The Open Tech Forum sits at the centre of the expo floor and is open to Explorer Pass holders with no badge upgrade. Confirmed 2026 topics cover battery chemistries — all-solid versus semi-solid lithium-ion, silicon AAM and mid-nickel NMC for heavy-duty applications — plus zero-flame-out safety design, sodium-ion for grid-scale storage, market forecasts including AI datacentre demand, the 400V to 800V charging transition, and AI-driven imaging in manufacturing.

The New Product Showcase runs 15-minute live demos at exhibitor booths; the participating companies have not yet been announced. The Battery Tech Theater carries sponsor-hosted technical sessions on the floor, with the schedule still to be published.

What networking runs alongside the show?

The Meet Up Zone is the one worth acting on early. Places are matched by topic and reserved in advance, so they go before the show opens.

How do you shortlist a battery supplier before the show?

With 1,300 exhibitors and three days of expo, the difference between a productive show and a tiring one is the work you do beforehand. These are the questions worth settling before you walk the floor, and worth asking on any booth you visit.

Before you travel

A supplier who answers the last two clearly is usually a better long-term partner than one who only competes on unit price.
